Leonard Stanley Pre-school - the beginning of the journey

We are currently full but taking enquiries for September 2026

Welcome to Leonard Stanley Early Years

At Leonard Stanley Early Years, we provide high-quality sessional care for children aged 3 to 5 years, nurturing them during these important early stages of learning and development. As part of Leonard Stanley School, our setting is fully integrated into the wider school family, helping children feel connected and supported as they take their first steps into school life.

Our sessions are carefully planned to reflect each child’s individual interests and learning journey. By observing what excites and engages them, we design activities that extend their thinking and introduce new experiences and skills.

We are proud of our experienced and fully qualified team, who are dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for every child. Just as importantly, we place great value on building strong relationships with parents and carers. We believe that when families feel supported and involved, children are more likely to feel settled, confident, and happy in our care.

Being part of the school community means your child will experience a smooth transition into primary school, benefiting from shared resources, including spending time in our forest school, growing vegetables in our allotment area and using the school field and playground, familiar faces, and a sense of belonging from the very beginning.
