Leonard Stanley Pre-School (previously Leonard Stanley Playgroup before 2009) has been operating for over 25 years. The links with the school are exceptional, and the children who attend the early years setting are always made to feel part of the school community. Leonard Stanley Early Years is managed by the Leonard Stanley Primary School Governing Body.

The Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, which became mandatory in 2008, and the subsequent government review, which came into force in 2012, ensure that we provide the best possible first steps into education.

We have a very experienced, qualified team of staff who are committed to ensuring a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for the youngest children within the school. We are just as passionate about welcoming parents into the setting; if your child is going to be settled and happy, then parents must be too.

We currently operate Early Years sessions on a

Monday - Friday

Morning Session: 9.00 – 12.00

Afternoon Session: 12.00 – 3.00

 

We also offer wrap-around care from 8.00am, Please email for details of session availability and costs.

Fees 

We accept 3-year-old government funding. Please follow the link to check your eligibility. Childcare and early years - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

There is a 50p contribution per session for food consumables. This will go towards a healthy snack during each session. 

If you are not eligible for a funded place, then the cost is as follows:

£5.75 per hour, i.e., £17.25 per session
