Living Out Our Vision
“Loving and Learning Together, for Life, as Jesus taught us.”
Our Christian vision is at the heart of all we do and shapes daily life in our school. We believe that every child is uniquely created, deeply valued and called to flourish. Through carefully planned opportunities, we enable our children to live out our vision in meaningful and memorable ways, developing spiritually, socially, emotionally and academically.
Vision Days – Putting Our Vision into Action
Each year, we hold four Vision Days, dedicated to enabling our whole school community to actively live out our vision of Loving and Learning Together, for Life, inspired by the teachings of Jesus. These days provide rich opportunities for reflection, growth and joy, allowing our children to experience our Christian values in action rather than simply learning about them.
Loving: Caring for Ourselves, Each Other and God’s World
The theme of Loving focused on helping children understand and practise love in its widest sense – love for themselves, for one another and for the world God entrusted to us.
Activities included:
- Litter picking and caring for our local environment, reinforcing our responsibility as stewards of God’s creation
- Painting fences to enhance and respect our shared spaces
- Cake decorating and collaborative creative tasks that encouraged kindness, patience and celebration of one another
- Hand art activities symbolising unity, belonging and the uniqueness of every child
These experiences helped children recognise that love is shown through action, service and care, just as Jesus demonstrated.
